Letter from ManagementPosted by PURE in News | December 01, 2011
Dear Sir / Madam,
It’s been more than a month since our groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of the PURE Beach Resort & Spa – Foul Bay, St. Philip in Barbados.
Guests of the groundbreaking were treated to a week of fun in the sun. Our official welcome reception was held at the Sugarlands Villa in Sandy Lane and provided the perfect opportunity to mix and mingle while listening to the sweet sounds of music from Jazz 4.
At the official groundbreaking ceremony guests were shuttled in comfort to the official site, where they were greeted by the picturesque views of the Foul Bay beach coastline and the uplifting rhythms of the Barbadian steel pan.
Management of the PURE Beach Resort and Spa turned the sod to mark the momentous occasion in front of an audience, which included ministers of government, members of the Barbados Tourism Authority and the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association and family of international reggae legend Bob Marley.
For those of you who could not make it to the groundbreaking ceremony, we have captured some of the best scenes from the week of activities to share with you.
Barbados is the island that keeps on giving and recently the Barbadian government announced plans to improve water services to the southeast parish of St. Philip. This is great news for our project as it means a new and highly efficient water supply to the Pure Beach Resort and Spa.
